HydrogenPro’s subsidiary granted NOK 52 million for three R&D projects

Advanced Surface Plating (ASP), a subsidiary of HydrogenPro, has been granted 3 new R&D projects in December, with a total value of NOK 52 million.

CEO of advanced Surface Plating, Lars Pleth Nielsen said: “I’m extremely proud and honoured to be part of the solid R&D platform that we are building up. With the three additional granted R&D projects we will be able to pursue several of our new ideas ensuring that we will be in the forefront of electrode development and electrolyser design by combining characterization, test and validation, from mW to MW, quantifying our new ideas together with our project partners”.

The recent funding of NOK 52 million, brings the total R&D portfolio of HydrogenPro and Advanced Surface Plating to NOK 125 million.

CEO of HydrogenPro, Tarjei Johansen, said: “ASP’s electrode technology is ground-breaking, and the recent R&D funding provides scope for developing it to an even greater extent.

The technology and expertise of our Danish subsidiary is central to HydrogenPro in the development of our third-generation electrolyser, which will be even more efficient than its predecessor”.
