As we reflect on 2024, we are happy that HydrogenPro has made significant strides in advancing green hydrogen technology and expanding our global footprint.

Here are some key highlights from our past year:

Strategic Investments:
Secured a strategic NOK 82.7 million investment from Andritz, bolstering our financial position and enabling further innovation.

Product development:
A grant from the EU Innovation Fund of EUR 16.5 million for large scale production of next generation electrode technology and additionally DKK 35 million awarded in May 2024 by the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark.

Funding regulations:
We fully comply with the European Hydrogen Bank funding requirements for European projects.

Project development:
We are delivering two of the world’s ten largest hydrogen projects, namely the Salzgitter project in Germany and the Aces project in Utah, USA. The installation of ACES project is completed and the delivery to the Salzgitter project is on track.

Organizational strength:
We have strengthened the team by  a Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operations Officer, General Manager North America, QHSE, Director and others.
Additionally, a new board was elected, chaired by Dag J. Opedal.

Strategic Partnerships:
New partnership with J.H.K., an industrial plant construction and engineering company to target green hydrogen projects in the range of 5-50 MW.

Sustainability and Innovation:
We continued our commitment to sustainability with low environmental impact solutions and no use of noble materials. Our electrolyser trains are designed to be scalable, powerful, and flexible, adapting to fluctuating energy flows.

Market Development:
There are numerous potential projects in the pipeline for the coming year and we have created an awareness of HydrogenPro’s reputation in the market as a leading supplier of large-scale plants. We are investing heavily in our technology to ensure that we can deliver state-of-the-art performance in the long term.

QHSE achievements:
We have achieved more than 365 consecutive days without any lost-time accidents.
QHSE is about building a sustainable, efficient, and responsible business. By prioritizing QHSE management at HydrogenPro, we can achieve long-term success and make a positive impact on our employees, customers, and the planet.
